A simple Halloween craft that children can enjoy. Quite often pumpkin carving requires a lot of muscle to scoop out the innards, and a very sharp knife to cut the detail. This idea, using apples, is an easier (and possibly safer) option. Once the apple heads are ready they need a good 2-3 weeks to shrivel and shrink – using them a whole year later is even better!
