Dinasour Egg Hatch
Can you guess what is inside the egg?!
Once the children had written their egg predictions the egg hatched with a dinosaur. They wrote a list on the whiteboard the following day of all the things they thought the dinosaur would need to survive. They added stones, grass, soil, sand, sticks, logs and water which the children collected on their own outdoors and ticked off the list once they had found them. The next day when they came in more dinosaurs had come out of the egg for the children to play with.
This is a perfect independent challenge which the children loved!
